Power Strip: Add or Delete Gadgets

To work with your gadgets, click the Manage this page link to open the Power Strip. Then click on the Gadgets bar.

This menu helps you to add, reopen, and remove gadgets on your page. 

Closed Gadgets:  If you’ve closed any gadgets on your page, you’ll be able to view a list of them by clicking this link.  Check the box next to the name of any gadget you’d like to reopen.  Then choose whether you’d like to reopen it on the right or left side of the page using the dropdown box. Then click the Add button.

Imported Catalog:  Click this link to import your own gadgets (.webpart files).  Enter the web location of the gadget in the text box or click the Browse button to find it on your hard drive.  Once you’ve located the file, click the Upload button.  Your gadget will now appear in the list of imported gadgets.  Check the box next to its name and use the dropdown box to choose whether you’d like to add it to the right or left side of your page.  Then click the Add button.

To Add Gadgets:  Click on iBelong Gadgets to see a list of all available iBelong gadgets.  Check the box next to the gadget(s) you’d like to add, and then use the dropdown box to choose whether you’d like the gadget to appear on the left or right side of your page.  Then click the Add button.  Your gadget will appear at the top of your page.  You can move your gadget to another spot on the page by clicking on the Settings bar.

To Delete a Gadget:  Whenever the gadge menu is open, a Delete link will appear in the upper right side of each of your gadgets. Clicking this will remove the gadget from your page.  You can always add a new instance of any gadget by using the steps above.
